About Reeloder
Reeloder is a free browser tool with one job: let you save Instagram media — Reels, photos, carousels, public stories — as real files on your device. No app, no account, and never a request for your Instagram password.
We built it because saving from Instagram is needlessly hostile. There's no native way to keep a photo as a file, Reels force people into screen recording, and the downloader sites that do exist bury their buttons under pop-ups, fake download links, and redirects. We wanted the opposite: a box, a button, a file — and nothing in the way.
How it works: Instagram checks sessions before serving media, so when you paste a public post's link, our server requests it through its own session and streams it straight to your device. That relay is live — bytes flow through, nothing is written to disk, and links aren't kept after processing. We never see or store your Instagram credentials, because we never ask for them.
What we're not: affiliated with Instagram or Meta in any way. We're an independent tool, built around personal-use framing, public content only, and a working DMCA path for creators who want their content handled.
The site is free, supported by unobtrusive ads. No pop-unders, no forced redirects, no fake buttons — the exact experience we built this to escape.
